I met an a Children's Book Artist

I was sitting having a lovely bowl of chili at a nearby restaurant when a gentleman sitting next to me whipped out an art set and starting drawing photos for people. He eventually asked me what I wanted and I requested a dinosaur playing chess. After a short while he presented me with this! Shortly after, I looked up his name and it turns out he is a famous children's artist, Kevin O'Malley! I was very excited and may have to mount this on my wall!

Cool Job Location

I got a cool new job this summer and I love it where I work Fun people, I work less hours and....I get to see cool stuff! I worked on a military base and got to see some pretty cool scenery. It may have been a bit noisy but I loved it. We got done ahead of schedule and I (because it was over 130 mile a day commute), I finished all my books on tape. Included here is A-10 Warthogs & the light poles we refurbished.
