Intrepid

For the second WW2 boat I've visited on the blog comes the U.S.S. Intrepid. Originally it was just going to be Michael and I but David, Eddie, Puvan, & Sameera joined us to make it an even better group. Mike & I did a jumping high five and we all saw an awesome sunset. Also, a badass submarine was there where the submariners would almost certainly die if they ever had to use the weapons platform.

Atlanta Folks

While stuck in Georgia, I got invited to visit a buddy for his birthday party. I was the only one who was new to the group but I got meet Gavin's buddies and his lovely gf. We also danced and I got see an awesome band that I bought a CD from. I had oysters in a half shell which were awesome but certainly not filling. The next morning, I saw a woman riding a horse down the street. I guess weird stuff happens in Georgia too

Bourbon Club

Right before I left for Oklahoma, I finished Rocklands Bourbon club (something Condor and Capito have crushed as well). For some random reason they put on the updated bourbon list. Btw-I think Capito is closing in on finishing his second list.

Frodos After Party

The pictures just get dumber with less and less making sense. Some of the faces on these folks are priceless hence more pictures coming up. Garver giving the Shooter McGavin & Christian going for Rob's(?) butt as well.

Frodos Wedding

Now I didn't take any pictures actually at Frodos wedding because there were these people paid to do that but I figured nobody took a picture of the afterparty. It started out in my room, went to another room, at one point I chased Bhawk Barnes down the hall and at another point my pants tore. Noodles was in fine form as were the ever rambunctious Metzger Clan. Kat was carried around by Rob for a while for whatever reason. These photos may need multiple posts going through them again.

Richard attack

Richard came to visit for the OU-Texas game and have general merriment. We went to hooters, watched games, got locked out of my apt and drank lots of beer.

Bhawk's everywhere

So hawk came to town to visit me. We ran around and saw a museum filled with cool cowboy stuff, chased buffalo (bison) and climbed around a creek looking for rose rocks. We didn't find any but we did have a good time.

MC Hammer

In Oklahoma City, the fair is a huge deal and to make it an even bigger deal, they invite huge all stars to play such as...MC HAMMER! Went bouncing around the fair but made it for his top three songs. I loved it. Also, Brian Barnes happened to be in town that weekend.

Andy comes back

Went to a bar in Clarendon/Ballston when I got back. The train was late so people hated me but I was happy to see folks. We gave hugs and Michelle sent rob naughty messages. Greg John & Tim John's thanksgiving was that weekend too so we were all happy. Took some pictures and then played some games that everybody seemed to be slightly not really understanding.

Stop in Little Rock

My mom and I found out that Little Rock had a WW2 boat that had been at Pearl Harbor on Dec 7. When we arrived, we found out that they didn't actually have it but had a Cold War submarine, they were advertising what they might have. We met a guy who ran a bar for bike riders to stop at on the bike trail who had fun dogs and we spent a while playing with them which turned out to be great!

Final Oklahoma and Wolves

In my final days in Oklahoma I hung out with good friends including the Commish, Russ, and a wild man. Later at a bar that had an extra special drink called a lunchbox containing Coors, Amaretto and OJ. While we were there a guy brought in a wolf. I didn't believe it but its hair was funny and then ran away from the guy, most dogs arn't like that

Walled City of Dubrovnik

One of the main fortress in Croatia, this town is now host to thousands of tourists a year and you can see why. It looks like something that would be inspired by disney and nearly as well put together. The city has little pedestrian streets with stone houses across a valley on peninsula. Very crowded but Megan and I still managed to have a ton of fun.
