Richarded

Richard turned another year older and as such, we decided to have a little shindig for the boy. It started out as any other party starts with people doing backflips and trying to do pull ups with Kat on their back. We rocked out to some bar in D.C. where we plied Richard with shots until he was talking to butch lesbians, doing airplanes with his hands, grabbing boobs and general passing out. The boy was legendary as he always is.

The first Metro car

I am probably the only person who thinks this is neat but while riding the red line I happened to look up and notice that I had been sitting on the very first metro car ever built! It was next to the second train car too which is kinda exciting. I took a picture and people looked at me like I was crazy.

New phone carrying style

I have decided that carrying your phone in your pocket, purse or fanny pack is no longer cool. Carrying your phone like James Dean carried his cigarettes is a much cooler way to take care of your annoying phone. I have included a photo to guide you and show you how much you are missing out by not doing it. Also included is a gif of Jessica Biel showing you how she treats any man (and certain women) she sees with their phone in their sleeve like this.

VT & Palermo

Two of my old high school teachers still stick around my parents ended up becoming really good friends with them. They taught me history in my 10th and 11th grade years and a barrel of laughs. As any Yorktown readers to my blog can appreciate, these were some badass teachers as evidenced in the fact that they wore my personal protective equipment from work in these photos. Hopefully we will see them again soon!

A return to beer pong after only a year!

Capito had a party at his place with his cool roommate John. We rocked out beer pong 22 stories up, Richard got crushed in sequence, shotgunning was had and I whipped out horserace by the end of the night. It was certainly good to be back around a tiny 44 mm ball.

A weekend fueled on fun and amazing eating

Nikki popped into Savannah where we did everything a person can think of in a weekend. We scarfed wings, watched football with about 0 Ravens fans about, went to monster trucks (trashiest thing ever), went on a haunted pub crawl (which turned out to be more funny than scary), ate chick-fil-a, pancaked, ate at huddle house (finest breakfast food I've had, sorry IHOP), glebed, walked around with beers in the street, watched True Grit and by the end of the weekend I was still kicking and rearing for more. Doesn't get much better than this! Something may be going good here!

Oklahomans are escaping!

On my drive down to Augusta, Ga, I met up with my good buddy Dan from Oklahoma City. I had missed this guy a lot as we frequently drank beer, ate wings and told the most rediculous stories (ask me in person, they are quite good). Hes in North Carolina now and I don't know how they let him out of Oklahoma but never the less, Dan prevails.

Dinner Time Baby

Momma Hanson threw one of her famous "have people over and feed them" holiday party. We ate an absurd amount of pot roast and completely finished off the gravy. I even saw Capito eat a vegatable. Afterwards we gathered for photos and one amazingly cool picture of Bertles. Richard looks drugged in almost every photo. Capito looks amazing mid laugh and my dad even let Gregon sit in his chair.

Turns out 52nd Floors Are Good for Views

I snapped some pictures from a penthouse of the New York City skyline from the 52 floor. I was impressed with myself as I am scared to death of heights. Nikki was gracious enough to point out all the amazing things and a silly lout who had been in Oklahoma only two months before got to learn something!

New Years Eve!

We popped into a party on the 234204952025 floor of some NYC apartment for a jolly good time. I didn't take too many pictures but this one girl at the party had really nice camera which I insisted on going around and taking pictures so we got some good snapshots of the night. Some dancing was had, hats were distributed but not always used as intendend but used in a better way and Puvan mixed some drinks I could not comprehend. Some wild girl named Nikki insisted that I dance with her all night. Turned out I met one damn cool girl. But more will follow!

Fighting through times square

After leaving the U.S.S. Intrepid we decided to walk to David's favorite restaurant. It was on the other side of times square so we had to fight out way through with the non new yorkers getting lost frequently. We went to David's favorite restaurant where I didn't have to pay for a thing (sweet!). I have no idea what Michael is doing with his hands but I assume it is cool. In only a few hours, NYE celebrating would begin. It was about this time that Megan popped out of nowhere to grace us with her presence.
