Drive to Dubrovnik with Trees

We skeddadled down the Dubrovnik along a beautiful mountain road. We stopped in a little town to see trees over 400 years old that were enourmous. The area was a garden for the rich and powerful for Dubrovnik kinda like Great Falls or the Hamptons are today. The tree actually had certain parts supported by stone columns it was so big. The color of the water isn't done justice in these photos which when viewed with your real eyes look even more amazing.

A hostel buddies

We went out for a night on the town carousing with some people we met in our hostel including an awesome Hostel guide named Jeremy. We went dancing and to bars and then some late night playing the water. Made it back by 4 am and survived. A wild night with lots of dancing with all sorts of people.

Old City Split

We ran around the old city where the city has built up inside Diocleatians palace. Its amazing to see 2000 year old buildings thriving with a city inside. We saw dancing in the square and had wonderful food. The old town has huge towers as well as spiderweb thin walkways and balconies.

Zadar and the Island of Hvar

We made it to Zadar and decided to take a day trip to the island of Hvar. Megan sunbathed while I scuba dove. We also layed on a beach for a while where there were lots of boobs hanging out. I think Megan took pictures then we headed home where we managed to find some folks from the UK to split the cab with. Very fun time. I also saw a billboard with a guy biting a girls ass.

Krka Lakes

Decided to make an improptu stop at a waterfall where you could swim below it. We both swam out and had a great time including having a beautiful sunny day and seeing a few people changing. We took a fun boat ride where I stood in the front and braved the wind.

Sunbathing

We found a little house where the woman rented her bottom rooms. Megan and I thought it was awesome and it had a pebble beach outside. We sunbathed (one picture where Megan looks naked) and then walked into the city center walking along a huge cliff. It was amazing and we sat there watching the sunset talking about all walks of life.

Sea Organ & Cool Light Show

After World War 2, much of Zadar's waterfront was repaired with a solid concrete wall. Once the city realized they needed something better they put in an organ that plays music by the waves striking it. It was amazing to hear as I thought I it would sound like a elephant seal mating with a kitten. There was also this huge circle that collected sunlight and then played back a lightshow at the end of the night. Megan and I played a game where we stayed away from the light like little kids and eventually other people joined in!
