Andy & Donkeys

Ending our tour with our guide, Soz decided to walk back and I decided to take a donkey up to the Monastery. If I had known what I was getting myself into, I don't think I would have gone. This donkey which I was riding on (I have no idea how to ride) was running up smooth as glass stairs that were 2600 years old with a 100 foot drop not one foot way. A small Jordanian boy ran with me guiding the donkey. At the top of the stairs there was another 1/4 mile up and since I was running out of time. I sprinted the entire way next to drops of over 1000 feet to find the Monastery. I took a few pictures then had to skedaddle. Next I had to ride my lucky donkey all the way back down. Needless to say I thought my heart was going to fall out of my chest. Numerous people laughed and took pictures of me. Btw-This is where a portion of Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen was filmed.
