Sixth Century B.C. Town

Upon arrival we encountered the UNESCO world heritage site and proceded up the Siq to the georgous city of Petra. Rounding the corner to look upon one of the most recognized sites in humankind, we stood in the exact location where Indiana Jones was filmed, the treasury. So named because the original discovers thought that it contained the weath of Petra (Bedouin have actually shot at it trying to get it out).
