Center of a 2600 year old city

The city center was mostly destroyed by earthquakes but one of the city center buildings was reinforced with wood so it stood the test of time. Some of these pictures are amazing of Petra and I had no idea how big it was. This was the most tourists we saw, maybe around 15 total that we had seen the whole day. Apparently since 2006 the number of tourists has dropped by about 25% percent per year. I guess people don't want to go to the middle east very much but I very much loved it.
