Leg 17- May 19- Terry, MT

Dizzy Diner
We stopped in Terry, Montana to visit the Prairie County Museum.  On our way into town I saw an old timey diner which made me have to stop.  We enjoyed terrific sandwiches, milkshakes and EP tried tater tots for the first time.  The Prairie County Museum was filled with artifacts from the surrounding countryside.  They had terrific photos, some rare rare items, and to my delight, an entire table of mammoth's teeth.  Supposedly, Sophie of Hanover gave Peter the Great a mammoth's tooth.  To see a mammoth tooth, then to hold one, then to see an entire table full of them, was a delight to me.  After the museum, we followed the Yellowstone River southwards to the largest city in Eastern Montana, Miles City.
I thought it was a treat to see an old sign like this

Dallas posing with her mammoth tooth

I'm not even certain I understand this one
