Leg 16- May 18- White Butte, ND

I want to buy this house

After arriving in Bowman, ND, we chanced going nearby to the main point of interest, White Butte.  White Butte is the highest point in South Dakota.  The road from Bowman went from nicely paved road to smaller paved road to nice gravel road to small gravel road terminating in a 2 vehicle gravel parking location.  We wandered between cow fields as the view got more and more spectacular.   My stress melted away.  As long as I can remember, I have not remembered such a magical or perfect spot and weather just was on point.  This may be the most inaccessible point we get to on this trip, but for my vote, this is the greatest part of the trip so far.
