Leg 12- May 14- Gothenburg, NE

Dog copilot
We pushed across the state of Nebraska (it's very wide).  Dallas drove so I buckled myself in at the dinette and tried to write letters (it's very hard as the RV can bounce quite a bit).  We arrived a delightful little park in Gothenburg.  It had two old timey merry go rounds (must be an insurance nightmare) plus the cleanest shower I've ever seen.  Huge cottonwood trees scattered throughout the park made the whole place feel incredibly homey.

Amazingly, 3 years ago on our cross country road trip, Dallas and I took a 15 minute break in Gothenburg to see the only original pony express building left in the world.

They gave us the entire corner to ourselves

EP and I rode on the merry go round together.
