Leg 15- May 17- Rapid City, SD

I needed all the help
Every morning I have to check the air pressure in the tires.  If I did not and a tire had low air, it would, potentially, be a disaster.  This morning, however, I had help which made for a delightful morning. The roads out of the Black Hills were incredibly windy, uneven, and off level (sometimes so un-level we thought we would tip over).  It took us quite a long time to make it a short distance as the Bounder does not like abrupt turns (we spilled a lot of gear onto the floor).  With our huge delay, we were forced to less distance today and also find a new mid rest point.  As we swung into Rapid City for supplies, Dallas continued to browse her phone for things to do when she exclaimed, "buaaaahh, there is a dinosaur park!"
Turns out, in 1936, the government was putting people to work through government programs and one of those programs was to build a dinosaur park.  EP seemed more excited to be outside in the wind and around big things but her overall excitement was through the roof.  Not only did she go bananas for dinosaurs but she got to try udon noodles and went for bananas for that too.  Side note- turns out dimetrodon is 200 million years older than other dinosaurs, who knew?
