Leg 2- May 1- Shawnee, PA

What a beautiful drive.  We scooted down some glorious side roads today including going off the Turnpike onto Rt 30 to enjoy a gorgeous day of sunshine, rustic buildings, sparkling ponds and rivers.  I think we crossed mountains called the Blue Mountains which blew my mind.  We arrived at a campground after our late start this morning with Hawk.  The campground has been renamed to Nature's Gateway and run by a kind man named Bob.  EP and I played in the grass while Dallas acquired a campsite.   We got assigned campsite #69, very nice, which was totally off at the end near no other campers.  Dallas learned to cook in an RV, sort an RV and how to tend a baby in an RV (the baby somehow got a stick and tried to eat it).  I wrestled getting power to the RV, figuring out the water system (the answer is there is always another bypass), figuring out hot water, the fridge operation, and securing everything overnight.  Brobeam Milholland gave us lights for outside the RV and put them up.  For evening entertainment, we watched Asdrubal Cabrera which is always a delight.
