Leg 44- Oct 26- Hovenweep, UT

Zoom in the background to see other structures
Nearby to Bluff was a series of buildings constructed nearly 800 years ago.  We loaded up the Cruze and tried to get there.  We got soooo lost and did quite a bit of off roading (in wet slop).  I thought for certain we'd get stuck at a few times.  We made it and did the entire loop trail partially during a hailstorm and all of it in roaring winds.  The skill these ancient builders had was impressive.  Farther down the road is a hidden section of Hovenweep which we found down a very gnarly road (but dry this time).  EP wasn't in her jacket so she rode in mine the entire time.
Sasha refused to not look forward

Hidden Hovenweep

This road was much more gnarly than the photo

The Cruze almost getting stuck (this road was much better than earlier)
