A short side trip

So it turns out while we were in Sarajevo that the whole city was going to shut down for the day for the Muslim holiday Bayram (sp?). Megan and I decided to brave the Republika Srpska with its Cyrillic writing and beautiful scenery. We popped into Serbia for a short time and bought crazy wool clothes from a guy on the side of the road that I named "Poppi". He was definitely creeped out but we still came in like a pack of wildebeasts and bought awesome Serbian hats. At the border we got hustled for 30 Euro by the Serbian border police.
